Student Ministry Worship Music

Music is a great way to connect with God and community on a deeper level. It’s been said that “music touches places that words cannot reach.”

As we try to fully embrace a relationship with God and each other, we believe it’s important that we provide opportunities for high school and middle school students to participate in worship through music. Come and lean into your faith; come and share your faith. Music is a great way to do it, as we share our faith through music. There is a place here for you.

Student Worship Team

The Student Worship Team meets in the Methodist Youth Center regularly during the school year and periodically over the summer. Excellent Worship is a key component in what we do in the Roots Student Ministry. God alone is worthy of our praise, and we take that seriously.

The Worship Team leads Worship most Sunday evenings during [lit] and on select Sunday mornings in Vinebranch Worship services at 11 a.m.

Regular rehearsals are required on Sunday afternoons when the Worship Team is on for [lit].

The Youth Choir is open to students in grade 6-12. All students who love to sing and worship God with music are invited to participate. The Student Worship Choir sings in all our worship services from time to time throughout the year.
