Do Something Day Spring 2019

High School Mission Trip to Camp Grace

Sunday-Friday, July 14-19
Rising 9th-12th grade students are invited to participate in Summer Mission Week at Camp Grace in Roberta, Georgia. We’ll provide support for a summer camp for underprivileged children by serving meals to the campers and doing afternoon activities with them. “Arsenic & Old Lace”

Meet in the Student Center parking lot at 5:45 p.m. to take the church bus to Roswell UMC.
Dinner: 6:30 p.m. Show: 7 p.m.

Adults age 50 and up are invited to dinner and a performance of “Arsenic & Old Lace.” $30 per person includes the meal and show. Register here.

UMW Celebrates 150 Years

The United Methodist Women celebrate 150 years of “Faith. Hope. Love in Action.” Everyone is invited to a special presentation about the UMW and its work in missions at Alpharetta Methodist.

Children’s Volunteer Re-Training

Children’s Choirs Workshop

Rehearsal: Saturday, March 23, 2-5 p.m.
Mark Burrows, writer, composer and clinician, returns to Alpharetta Methodist to lead a music workshop for kindergarten-5th grade students who are participating in our Children’s Choirs. Rehearsal is on Saturday, March 23, and the children will sing during the 11:00 traditional service on Sunday, March 24. Get details and register your child here.
