"For nothing will be impossible with God." (Luke 1:37)

Miracles are the golden threads found in the weaving of the Bible. Water into wine, walking on the water, thousands fed from a meager lunch pail are all examples that come to mind. Some people get a bit too giddy for me about miracles. A well-meaning lady in the Lebanon Methodist Church brought me a little placard that read “Expect a Miracle”. She insisted I keep it on my desk which I did for the better part of three years. I’ve learned to “Expect Reality” but every now and then I am surprised by the power and goodness of God which is what a miracle is to me. Someone beats cancer, someone comes home to Christ and the church, or something happens that completely defies reality. That’s a miracle to me. Faith in God has a way of allowing miracles to happen as I read the stories of Jesus. I invite you to look over your shoulder and see the miracle moments in your life when God showed up and made a way where there was no way. And tune in for the next few days as I scribble some thoughts about the miracles of Jesus. --Dr. Don
