Many years ago one of the saints of the church had the vision to create a volunteer-led ministry to provide a meal ministry for our church community on Wednesday nights. Those who serve in this ministry of love are called Sheepfeeders. There are well over 150 people involved in our teams who serve on a rotational basis from September through May. Sheepfeeders are responsible for every aspect of providing our meals, serving an average of 400 meals each week, including dozens of meals that are prepared and transported to homebound persons in the community.

Because of the selfless service of our volunteers, not only do our folks get a good meal for a fair price, many people who might not otherwise have a meal are fed. Our teams are eager to serve and just as eager to welcome new team members. If you are looking for a fun and rewarding place to serve, we would love to make a place for you on a team this fall.
