The retreat will include lots of time for fellowship, Bible study, prayer and a little adventure, for those who are up for it. All men are invited.

Accommodation prices (per person):

  • $200 – Three-person room with 2 queen beds and a loft
  • $250 – Double room with 2 queen beds
  • $375 – Single room with king bed

As local and regional mission needs arise, the AMen put their faith in action. Several times each year they serve in mission projects, support church ministries or help in the community.

  • Mission projects
A few times a year, the Alpharetta Methodist Men participate in weekend or one-day mission projects locally, primarily with rebuilding projects and yard debris removal at the homes of elderly and infirm members of the church or community. They occasionally travel to impoverished areas, or towns recovering from natural disasters, to lend a hand.
  • Support for church events
The AMen provide support to church-sponsored community events, like cooking the meal at a summer Wednesday Night Supper. The AMen also partner with the United Methodist Women on ministry projects.

We believe that our faith journeys are enriched by supporting other men in their walk with Jesus Christ. Small groups, prayer groups and bible studies are available to facilitate this spiritual growth.

Every Saturday, the AMen meet for Bible study in room 308, from 7 to 9 a.m. All men are invited. Bring your Bible and your heart for Jesus. No reservations are needed. Come and study the Bible with other men of faith.

Every Thursday, the AMen meet for a lunchtime Bible study at noon in room 253. All men are invited. Bring your own bag lunch! No reservations are needed. Come have lunch and learn with other men of faith.

Men's Thursday Bible Study

On the 2nd Tuesday of each month, the AMen Prayer Team meets at 7 p.m. in room 310. All men are welcome. For more information, call Joe Renta.
