Fashion Museum Exhibition

Thursday, Feb. 28

The Good Life Club invites older adults to join them for a guided tour of the “Cinematic Couture” exhibit at the SCAD FASH Museum of Fashion + Film, followed by lunch at the Bone Garden Cantina.

See more than 50 costumes represented by films depicting 5 centuries of history, drama, comedy, fairy tale and adventure through period costumes worn by such stars as Meryl Streep, Colin Firth, Drew Barrymore, Keira Knightley, Nicole Kidman and Kate Winslet. “Cinematic Couture” showcases costumes from 24 acclaimed films, including “Titanic,” “Sense and Sensibility,” “Out of Africa,” “The Duchess” and “The Danish Girl,” as well as award-winning British television series “Pride and Prejudice,” “Downton Abbey” and “Victoria.” This exhibit allows the viewer to getclose to the costumes and appreciate the fine details that are often seen only briefly on screen.

$10 for museum visit, plus the cost of lunch on your own. See the Bone Carden Cantina menu here.
