Student Ministry Music

Come sing your praise and share your faith in one of our youth music ministries.

Alpharetta Methodist provides many opportunities for high school and middle school students to participate in Worship through music. Youth grow spiritually as they share their faith through music. Whether you sing, ring or play your praise, we have a place for you!

Student Worship Team

The Student Worship Team meets in the Methodist Youth Center regularly during the school year and periodically over the summer. Excellent worship is a key component in what we do in the Roots Student Ministry. God alone is worthy of our praise, and we take that seriously.

The Worship Team leads worship most Sunday evenings during [lit] and on select Sunday mornings in Vinebranch worship services at 11 a.m.

Regular rehearsals are at 8 p.m. on Wednesdays and 4 p.m. on Sundays when the Worship Team is on for [lit].

For more information about the Student Worship Team, contact Director of Student Ministries  Ric Clark.

Student Worship Choir

The Student Worship Choir is open to students in grade 6-12. All students who love to sing and worship God with music are invited to participate. The Student Worship Choir sings in AFUMC worship services and the student-led [lit] worship. Rehearsals are Sundays from 5 to 6 p.m. in Vinebranch Chapel.

For more information about the Student Worship Choir, contact Associate Director of Music/Contemporary Worship Director Stephanie Newton.
