AFUMC high school students traveled to Ecuador again this summer for mission work. Youth and adult leaders travel to Ecuador every summer to help with the Jungle Kids for Christ and Dunamis Foundation missions.

The trip was a huge success, and we had a great team of first-timers and seasoned volunteers. We shared Jesus Christ, our stories, their stories and our hearts, as we joined hands with family members from another culture. The family of God is truly awesome.

Birmingham Mission 2016

Students and adult leaders traveled to Birmingham, Alabama, for five days of service across the city. From a homeless shelter to a summer tutoring program to helping with summer programming at the YMCA, our students gave of themselves and came back changed.

You don’t want to miss this trip next year! We don’t know where we’ll be, but wherever it is, we’ll glorify God, serving him by serving others.
