Church Ministries

An important part of discipleship is service to others. There are many opportunities to serve at Alpharetta Methodist, both on Sundays and during the week.

Contact the church office to learn about how you can help office staff in different ministry areas.

Lead an adult Bible study group or a Sunday morning class. Teaching materials will be supplied, and training is available.

Do you have experience with audio or video equipment? Or are you willing to learn? Our audio/video teams record sermons and operate the sound and video screens during worship services and special events.

We always need volunteers to help with Children’s Ministries programs on Sunday mornings and with our Children’s Choirs on Wednesday evenings.

If you write, take photos as a hobby or for a career, excel in desktop publishing or graphic design, or have experience in the fields of communications or marketing, we’d love to talk with you about joining our team!

Our Sheepfeeder Teams serve on a rotational basis from September through May, providing meals for Wednesday Night Suppers.

Serve in one or our  Worship Ministries to help us ensure that church members and guests have a welcoming, positive experience when they come to worship on Sunday mornings.
