Yarn Tales

Second Thursday of each month
10 a.m.-12 p.m.
Bagley House

Yarn Tales (formerly Knot for Profit) is a crochet and knit ministry that crochets and knits scarves, hats, blankets and other items for charities. Past projects have included:

  • Blanket squares for Warm Up America
  • Scarves for Special Olympics
  • Soap bags, hats and scarves for Under the Bridge Ministry
  • Prayer shawls for the Alpharetta Methodist Prayer Room
  • Lap blankets, hats and scarves for residents of area assisted living facilities

All experience levels are welcome. Yarn Tales has beginner through advanced crocheters, knitters and loom knitters. Join us for a meeting! You can make the month’s current project or anything you’d like.

Yarn Tales is a place to come together, share some “yarns” and turn loose threads into tangible items of comfort for those in need. Come join us as we allow God to untangle and shape our lives into representations of his love to the world around us.
