Alpharetta Methodist strives to provide fellowship and study opportunities for the men through fellowship events, small groups and Bible studies. The men of the church also participate in service projects in the community and provide support for AFUMC ministries and missions.

  • Bible studies
    • Lunch and Learn
      Senior Pastor Dr. Don Martin leads this weekly lunchtime Bible study every Thursday. Each week is a standalone lesson. Bring your lunch; drinks are provided. Lunch and Learn is held in the Methodist Youth Center, 11:55 a.m.-1 p.m. No RSVP is required, but if you’ll email us before you come for the first time, we’ll have a Daily Companion Bible waiting for you.
    • Men’s Saturday Morning Study
      Men of all ages gather for Bible study, fellowship and encouragement to follow Christian principles. This group meets on Saturdays from 7 to 8 a.m. in the church library.
    • Thursday Morning Bible Study with Dr. Martin
      Senior Pastor Dr. Don Martin leads short (3-4 week) Bible studies that focus on issues of faith that are important to men in the 21st century. The studies are held on Thursday mornings, 7:15-8 a.m., in the Methodist Youth Center Chapel. Coffee and sausage biscuits are always provided.
