Romans: A Bible Study
Sundays, 6:30-8 p.m., Feb. 5-March 25
The Letter to the Romans is the apostle Paul's masterpiece. Among many other things, Romans is the fullest, most concentrated statement of the gospel in the New Testament. In Romans, Paul answers the question, "How does God's saving work in Christ reveal God's righteousness?" In other words, how does Christ fulfill God's covenant with Israel, uphold the demands of justice, and enable everyone who chooses to come into a saving relationship with God? Since Paul's answer informs so much of our Christian and Wesleyan theology and doctrine, we ought to pay close attention to it! To help us out, Rev. Brent White will offer this 8-week study of Romans starting Sunday, Feb. 5. To register, call 770-475-5576 or fill out the form below. Nursery offered by reservation.
