 54 and More is an energetic, active group of young at hearts who meet, work, sing, play, serve and travel together. In addition to special projects, trips and activities throughout the year, we meet the 3rd Tuesday of each month for lunch and a program. All older adults and guests are welcome and encouraged to attend. There are no dues and no reservations necessary.

New Jubilations Choir
This senior adult choir loves to sing the rich hymns and gospel songs that have stood the test of time as well as music from their generation. We rehearse in the choir room, 11:00 am, the first and third Monday of each month in. For more information, contact
Canasta Games
These games began years ago and continue to be enjoyed each Tuesday in the Bagley House at 12 noon. On the third Tuesday of the month Canasta games begin following the 54 and More program in the Methodist Youth Center, usually by 1:30 and continue until approximately 4:30 pm. New members are always welcome!
Trips
This is an ongoing interest of this group and is currently coordinated by Ellon Jones. Frequently an outing is planned - lunch at some distant place, a trip to the mountains or to see a show. In spring and fall two 5 - 12 day trips are planned.
 Christmas Wreath ProjectIn 1990, 54 and More entered into the Christmas wreath business. This continues to be the only fundraiser for 54 and More. Over the years, 54 and More has used this money to contribute generously to various needs throughout the church including the Trinity Hall sound system, needlepoint cushions for the Sanctuary, a church facade restoration, a new church sign, kitchen equipment, new Trinity Hall flooring, Christian Dickson (missionary), church operating budget, North Fulton Community Charities, memorials, the Bagley House back steps and painting, reupholstering the sofa, dining room chairs and a window seat for a total of over $23,000.

Published monthly for the older adults of Alpharetta Methodist, this Newletter is a tool to communicate a wide array of information to members such as upcoming programs, birthdays, membership information and trips.
The Bagley House
Previously known as the "Corner House" and used by the youth groups and scouts, in 1999 the Bagley House was renovated, redecorated and dedicated primarily for the use of the older adults of Alpharetta First United Methodist Church. It is a convenient and popular "home away from home" for many. 54 and More meets in the Bagley House for Executive Board Meetings, Canasta games, family luncheons following funerals, UMW meetings, bridal, baby, birthday parties and more.
